Lionel Messi / ph: Dolce & Gabbana
Lionel Messi was in Zurich yesterday to receive the FIFA Ballon d'Or 2012 trophy. The Barcelona and Argentina forward has been awarded the Ballon d'Or for a fourth year running, and took to the stage in a polka dot tuxedo from Dolce & Gabbana. There were quite a few comments online, critising his choice of attire, which I'm really surprised. I honestly thought he looked really good there. Loving the bold polka dot jacket and matching bow tie. I think he carried off the look beautifully.

ReplyDeleteI love the tux. Would change the look of the bowtie though. Too near/pre-tied for the polka dot print / tux combo.
ReplyDeleteI actually liked what he wore for this event but regardless of that, I think that getting the award is more important than taking notice of what he wore.
